Ms. AMPURIRE Angel Phionah joined the firm at the beginning of September 2016 as an associate. She graduated among the top 10 students in her class with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the National University of Rwanda.

While at university, Ampurire represented Rwanda at the 2016 Nuremberg International Criminal law Moot court competition in Nuremberg Germany where her prosecution memorial becoming the best 2nd of all prosecution memorials from all the 37 participating countries. She also represented the University of Rwanda in different debate competitions.

She has been involved in different leadership roles including but not limited to being president of the Law Students’ Association 2014/2015 at the School of Law, University of Rwanda.

At Trust law Chambers, she works on Intellectual Property, litigation, Immigration and Contract law matters.

She is a native speaker of Kinyarwanda and has excellent command of English.
